Full Body Hydrate Gummies
KONO Hydrate Gummies
(With Ocean Based Trace Minerals & Electrolytes)
Gelatin gummies can be the most hydrating snack, especially when made with quality ingredients.
Gelatin is derived from collagen and has a natural ability to bind water, helping your body retain fluids more effectively. It also plays into the concept of the fourth phase of water, often referred to as structured or EZ water, where water forms a more ordered, gel-like state around proteins and surfaces in the body.
Because gelatin itself forms a gel matrix, it may help support this more structured form of water, potentially improving how water is absorbed and utilized at the cellular level. When combined with water, electrolytes, and mineral-rich juices, gummies become a convenient way to maximize hydration. They also deliver amino acids like glycine that support gut health and recovery.
This has become our go-to recipe for nutrient rich hydration! 👇
Ingredients:
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 KONO Full Body Hydrate electrolyte packets or scoops.
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3-4 tbsp gelatin powder
Directions
- Combine the orange juice and water so you have 2 cups of liquid.
- Transfer one cup of liquid to a small pot with honey and heat over medium to just under a boil.
- Mix the electrolytes into the liquid mixture that was not heated.
- Sprinkle the gelatin into this electrolyte mixture, one table spoon at a time. (More gelatin will make for harder gummies so adjust accordingly!)
- Allow the gelatin to bloom for a couple minutes.
- Use a fork to stir in the gelatin and smooth any clumps.
- Pour the heated liquid mixture into your gelatin mix and stir once more.
- Transfer to a baking dish. You can lightly oil the edges to avoid any stickiness.
- Place in the fridge to solidify for 2-3 hours.
- Slice and enjoy!
- Keep extras in the fridge.
